D. (Darren Hackey ) is a hat lover that became a hat collector that became a hat artist.   So he started to create custom made hats and D. James was born in Montana. D. James hats are individually designed, and every element is hand made. The finest materials are hand sourced, incorporating vintage and modern materials. Each hat is a unique piece of art. 

When Chrissy Glenn discovered D. James, she fell in love with his hats. Both artist were a perfect fit for a collaboration.  Her unique hand woven hat bands were a natural addition to D. James unique hand made hats resulting in a great collaboration.
